Corporate Administration

In order for your company to exist, a great deal of time is spent on preparation, lodgement and

maintenance of all corporate documents and information.

Our Corporate Manager does all this for you. If you so much as change your address or any other

company details, then the Government needs to be informed. Let Robins Accountants know of the

change and we will lodge the necessary paperwork with the Australian Securities and Investments

Commission (ASIC) for you.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) was formed in 1991 by the Australian

Parliament to regulate companies in Australia.

The ASIC replaced the state Corporate Affairs Offices. This was the beginning of a new era of national

regulation for companies in Australia governed by a single law. The ASIC has the responsibility for

administering the Corporations Law, which governs the day to day operations of corporate Australia.

One of ASIC’s compliance functions is to receive, process and store documents lodged for Australian

companies.

Every company is required to lodge an Annual Company Review with the ASIC for each year on the

anniversary date of the company. The information on this form is to update the ASIC database to

ensure you have complied with the Corporations Law. Late lodgement penalties will apply if the Annual

Review form is not lodged by the due date.

At Robins Accountants we keep track of your corporate affairs, and take away the hassles so again you can

get on with running your business.
